Skin rages, ten shades darker than it should have been.
I hate it – not for the pain, not for the embarrassment of having crimson-painted shoulders, not for the sheer annoyance of it – I hate it for the almost-tan it fades to on my white arms. I hate it because every inch of glaring burn costs me a degree of paleness I will never get back.
Vanity, yes. But I still hate getting sunburnt.
You may have guessed, I got sunburnt a few days ago.
